In this piece, South-eastern (SE) Nigeria refers to the Igbo people as well as related tribes, while South-western (SW) Nigeria refers to the Yoruba people and related tribes. The South-southern (SS) Nigerian people consists of a group of tribes that are not really related to one another but have influences from both the SE and the SW peoples.

Demographically, Yoruba guys are mostly red pilled by default. This is why their women readily marry other tribes where there are “softer men”, especially south-eastern men. Ask an Igbo lady or Delta lady if she would date a Yoruba guy, she would scream “God forbid”. Ask a Delta lady or Yoruba girl if she would date or marry an Igbo man, she would respond with a resounding “yes”. It’s because SE is mostly the headquarters of simpish men, followed by the SS.

You see, this is due to the difference in worldviews between the SE and the SW.

What qualifies a man for having a woman to date or marry is different in the SE and SW.

Generally, what qualifies an SE man to have a woman is squarely his financial capacity. But what qualifies an SW man to have a woman is his maturity, candour, eloquence, skills, reputation, vision, and emotional intelligence.
